Admission requirements
Applicants must have completed a higher education degree in science or economic sciences, such as :
a "Bachelor of Science" (a three-year scientific or economic course) minimum
a French "licence" at the minimum
an equivalent diploma from another European country.
Applicants must demonstrate interest for the wine profession
Concerning the applicants in employment who wish to pursue the master’s degree through an adult education system, the admission requirements will be examined closely by the teaching committee teaching.
Language level
A good level of English and French is obligatory. Other languages, especially those of the partner universities, are an additional advantage. An official certificate must be returned to ESA before the 30th of June
English (except candidates of english mother tongue) : the minimum TOEFL score required is 470 (or TOEIC 550) or equivalent certificate
French (except candidates of french mother tongue) : the minimum TEF score required is 541 points (or TFI 550) or equivalent certificate(certificates in English and French to be sent at last for June 30th)
An intensive language course can be followed before the Master’s course starts :
-You can be trained to French Foreign Languages the first 15 days of September with other foreign students in the group. -Thereafter, 6 weeks of French and refresher course in viticulture-enology, marketing and sociology are specifically organized for students in the Master International Vintage. Official classes (which are validated with credits) start in early November.
-You can also come earlier in July and/or August to follow a 1 or 2 month-intensive training in french at CIDEF for an amount of around 750 euros/month).

The deadline for students who wish to apply the the Erasmus Mundus scolarship is January 15th 2012
You can’t apply as a third country’s candidate for Erasmus Mundus scolarships if :
- You already applied for 3 other Master Erasmus Mundus
APPLICATION FEES
Are differentiated in two categories based on the Gross National Income Per Capita (GNIPC) as calculated by the world bank. For countries with a GNIPC below 5 000 dollars , fees amount to 10 euros. For countries with a GNIPC over 5 000 dollars, fees amounts to 50 euros.

If you are graduate of a partner university of the master, also send a copy of the candidates’ file, by electronic mail or postal, to the teaching person in charge at your university of origin.
Your written application will be examined, then if it is accepted, you will be invited for an oral interview at ESA or by phone or skype for overseas coutries.
The final selection will be done by the teaching committee and the results will be communicated around in March. A definitive answer would be given by the European Comission in June 2012.
For any other application, the final answer will be given for the 30th of June, 2012.
The next school entry will take place at the end of september 2012 in Angers (France).
