Vladimir Galvan - Master Vintage Promo V

Passionate about wine, I have followed this course to complete my initial training in Industrial Engineering on the viticultural and oenological techniques involved in winemaking. Thanks to the international approach of this course I had the opportunity to meet with organizations and businesses wine of great prestige in Europe. I enjoyed the taste of wine in a multicultural environment and awareness of the viticulture and the Bolivian Singani (spirits).

It is a unique opportunity, for someone who wants to discover and understand the european viticulture, and is very passionated for wine, it is very fulfilling. The cultural diversity, the day to day in differents countries, with people from everywhere in the world help you to find international relationships for futures exchanges. The friendship found here are for all your life".

A chance to participate in the Master Vintage is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. It is impossible to describe everything that this experience has given me. It is a program which challenges you to study all the aspects of the wine industry while being immersed in different cultures. Not only do you continually adapt to new countries and experiences you also learn to adapt to a multicultural environment shared with students from all over the world. In the end there is one main thing that brings us all together in the Master Vintage and it is WINE.

Yiyi MA, China - Master Vintage promo V, 2ème promo Erasmus mundus

I am very happy to have been selected. Thanks to this master, I discovered the world of wine and began to know how to appreciate the wine. The experience of working and living with my multicultural colleagues was the best memory for me. It taught me to be more open-minded. I will never forget these two years experience living in Europe.

Ines Rodriguez Benitez, Colombia - Intake 4 and first intake Erasmus Mundus

"I want to thank you to everyone !, Muchas gracias ! for this very rewarding and memorable Master Course . Not only for the educational side which is very important, but also for the opportunity to experience other cultures, languages, ways of doing and see life.

Believe me I have lived through very difficult moments, too. Being away from family and Colombian friends was hard but I’ve also known people who cheer me whenever I needed it and today I can also call them my friends.

I wish you good luck with future Intakes and Master of happyness in your lives.

Thank you and thank you again ! Grazie mille Muchas gracias Thanks a lot Muito obrigada "

"In parallel to my course of engineering at the ESA, I chose to follow the International Master Vintage on the last 2 years of my course. Its diversity and opening to the international seems to be its main asset. Today, a professional working in the wine industry must be at the forefront of modern technology but also in step with the economy of the global chain and the fact of the methods of management and marketing. The Master Vintage gives undoubtedly the key to understanding all these areas and build himself his knowledge.

I am currently in the "Côtes de Blaye area", vinegrower on the 60 ha family farm. The international dimension of the Master today allows me to speak 4 languages and increase exports to countries where networks of my friends are. In addition, the polyvalence of the Vintage training allows me to be comfortable in areas as diverse as viticulture, wine making, management, administration and wine tarde which are the essential tools of my daily activities "

"With a training of oenology at the University of Vila Real (Portugal)to begin with, I had as a personal objective to widen my knowledge not only in oenology, but also in the whole of the wine sector, especially on commercial level.

By following the master " VINTAGE ", I succeeded in increasing this knowledge, on the one hand, with the organization of the modules and the quality of the interventions and, on the other hand, because I lived the reality of this sector on several countries.

To include/understand what occurs in the close area is no sufficient any more to develop our company to be competitive. We have the chance to have in a small surface (viticultural Europe) a diversity of produits/organisations and a quality of products which enables us to increase our knowledge in the sector. But it is necessary to leave our country to apprehend them.

After having finished this Master I was employed as sales manager for the Iberian peninsula by a French multinational (Vaslin-Bucher). I have no doubt that without international knowledge and the work load capacities developped during the master "VINTAGE" course, I would have never had this job. »
