In a few words The university was founded in 1921 in Milan by Dr. Agostino Gemelli, and was the first humanistic faculty established by a brother franciscain. The faculty of agriculture was founded in 1953 in Piacenza. It delivers five BSc diplomas (including the vine growing and oenology) after a three years teaching, Master diplomas and doctorate. The institute of vine growing and oenology also works on national and international research projects on the majority of the aspects of the wine die. Role in Master In the course of Master, the UCSC proposes (as from the school year 2003-2004) module 4 "Vine growing and Environment". Professors of this university can intervene in modules 1 "Economy and Marketing" and 2 "Organization of the wine sectors" organized by the ESA of Angers. Certain years they take part in the organization of the study trip of the module 3 "wine Soils".
