From Mendoza, Argentina, Santiago can be reached by plane or by bus; from elsewhere the easiest way is to reach Santiago by plane.

The University can be easily reached by subway, line 5, station San Joaquin, in front of the main Campus entrance.

The cost of living in Chile is in general terms relatively lower than in most European countries.
